Rotary promotes ethical leadership, professional success and friendship through service in our community and around the world.  Established in 1905 by a small group of businessmen, Rotary encourages and fosters the ideal of service as a basis of worthy enterprise.  Today, there are over 35,000 Rotary Clubs worldwide with 1.2 million men and women comprising of business leaders, community leaders, captains of industry, politicians – all the movers and shakers.

Rotary Means Business carries forward these traditions and values by delivering a high-level platform focused on building relationships and growing business while adhering to The Four-Way Test.

Rod Gaerlan - President

Rod Gaerlan handles Luxury Suite Sales for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Raymond James Stadium.  A Paul Harris Fellow, Rod is a member of the Rotary Club of Tampa, serving as the Club Secretary and Social Committee Chair.  In addition to Rotary, he is an Ambassador for the Tampa Bay Chamber and member of the Westshore Alliance. 

Craig Miller - Creative Director, Immediate Past President

Craig Miller is the President of Full Throttle Advertising. He currently serves is the Past President of the Rotary Club of New Tampa and is vice chair of membership of the North Tampa Bay Chamber of Commerce.

Pamela Jo Hatley - Secretary

Pamela Jo Hatley is a land use, environmental, and real estate attorney. She is an active member of the Rotary Club of Ybor City, and has served her club in several capacities including as board secretary and service projects chair. Pamela is a member of the executive council for the Environmental and Land Use Section of the Florida Bar, and recently stepped up to chair the ELULS Treatise committee.

Fred Wallrapp - Treasurer

Fred Wallrapp is the President of Tribute Telecom, a telecommunications consulting company. He was the Past President for Tampa Interbay Rotary Club (now Tampa Midtown Rotary Club) where he serves as the Club Secretary.

Vicky Presscott - Membership Director

Vicky Prescott is the Business Development Manager for Image Depot Express. They specialize in custom printed products such as screen-printed apparel, embroidered items, promotional products, and signage. Vicky is a member of the New Tampa Noon Rotary Club. She also serves as the Rotaract District Governor #6890.

Karen Frashier - Public Relations Director

Karen Mess Frashier is Chief Strategist and CEO for Advocate Marketing PR. Her firm offers fractional chief marketing officer services for a wide variety of companies with gross revenues between $5 and $100 million. A member of the Rotary Club of New Tampa with nine years perfect attendance, Karen is a past president and now chair of the Taste of North Tampa Bay. She was named Rotarian of the Year in 2014-15 for Rotary District 6890.

Karen Tillman-Gosselin - Director of Events

Karen Tillman Gosselin is a Real Estate Agent and has been named one of the Top 25 Real Estate agents in the Tampa Bay Area by the Tampa Bay Business Journal. Karen is a member of the Rotary Club of New Tampa, where she was Past President. She currently serves as Past President of the USF Bulls Club, is a former member of the USF Foundation Board, and North Tampa Bay Area Chamber of Commerce Board Chairwoman in 2019.

Darren “Kip” Kipnis - Senior Director

Darren “Kip” Kipnis is the District Governor 2019-20 Rotary District 6890 and Wealth Advisor at Merrill Lynch, Kip became a member of The Rotary Club of Tampa in 2004 after meeting Fred Karl and Charlie Banks. He served as the Club’s President in 2010-2011 and Chair of the Rotary Club of Tampa’s Foundation the following year. Kip is a Major Donor of The Rotary Foundation, a Bequest Society member and a member of the Paul Harris Society.
